MIRADOR SAN PEDRO

The main monument, the sculpture of San Pedro, was inaugurated in 2001 and created by the Cuenca artist Eddie Crespo.

La Loma de Lluglli is a natural and cultural viewpoint that offers spectacular panoramic views of Alausí and its surroundings. At its summit stands the Monument to San Pedro, the city's patron saint, a striking 21-meter-tall sculpture made up of 114,000 ceramic pieces. This location is ideal for enjoying the scenic beauty and tranquility of the region.

Access to the viewpoint is easy thanks to the constructed stairways, and the site features green areas that enhance its appeal. From here, visitors can admire the vastness of the city and the surrounding mountains, making it a must-visit destination for both locals and tourists.
